Stetson Auto Shops opened its doors on Ashcroft in 1948 — the first dedicated auto upholstery and trim shop in Houston. For 22 years and counting, the same family has run the business, handing down patterns, stitching technique, and an instinct for OEM materials from one generation to the next. We've re-skinned headliners on Cadillacs that are older than most dealerships in this city, hand-stitched leather into Porsches and Range Rovers that just rolled off the truck, and restored the original cloth on more classic Mustangs than we can count. Houston has changed a lot since 1948. The way we do this work hasn't.
